We make versatile women’s fleece zip-ups, pants and other pieces for wearing over or under other layers, whether you’re looking for a heritage-inspired fleece anorak, a classic quarter-zip or a women’s fleece hoody. Meanwhile, our women’s fleece joggers and sweatpants are ready for cool mornings and frigid nights. We’ve been making fleece since 1979. The material is warm yet breathable, so it’s an ideal layering choice when you’re dressing for shifting conditions.

Making Fleece from Recycled Polyester for 30 Years
We began making recycled polyester from plastic soda bottles in 1993—the first outdoor clothing retailer to transform trash into fleece. By reducing the amount of virgin polyester in many of our products, and replacing it entirely with recycled polyester in some, we reduce our need for petroleum to make raw materials and help cut landfill and incinerator waste. In Fall 2023, over half of our women’s fleece jackets and other fleece styles are made of 100% recycled polyester fleece. And 90% of our fleece styles—gloves are one exception—are made in Fair Trade Certified™ factories, which means the people who make these garments earn a premium for their labor.
